The race was won by Sebastian Vettel. It was the 4th win of the season for Vettel. He would eventually get 11 wins in 2011 and become champion. The German, who drives for Red Bull-Renault, had a lead of 0.6 secs to Lewis Hamilton who came in second and finished 35.6 secs in front of Jenson Button who was third. Of the 24 drivers who competed in the race, 3 retired. Sebastian Vettel remained 1st and extended his lead with 7 points to 41 points.
