The race was won by Sebastian Vettel. It was the 7th win of the season for Vettel. He would eventually get 11 wins in 2011 and become champion. The German, who drove for Red Bull-Renault, finished the race in 1:26:44.893. He had a lead of 3.7 secs to Mark Webber who came in second and finished 9.6 secs in front of Jenson Button who was third. Of the 24 drivers who competed in the race, 5 retired. Sebastian Vettel remained 1st and extended his lead with 7 points to 92 points.
